Design Checklist
Guiding feature designers in building better, system-aligned components.
With our flexible core and domain library setup, both design system and feature designers are able to build components. To support feature designers — who create components less often — I developed a tailored checklist to help ensure consistency and alignment with system standards.

Design Checklist
Making it easy to remember the important stuff
The checklist covers all the key considerations for building a solid component—from using system tokens for spacing, color, and typography, to meeting basic accessibility standards like contrast and focus indicators. It serves as a quick, reliable reminder of the essentials. Items marked with an external link icon include direct links to relevant documentation or examples for deeper guidance.

Checking items off as you go
Feature designers utilize this checklist as they build their component in their files. Items can be checked off as they go, to ensure that the component is ready to be handed off to feature team devs.
